Jet Industries INC. Donates to Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

Community service is an important function of both life and business. So when Jet Industries Inc. was asked by Extreme Makeover: Home Addition to assist in the development of project #807 for a Salem, Oregon based family who had fallen on hard times and needed a helping hand, Jet was happy to contribute and give back to the community in which the Company has existing for over 30+ years. Salem Oregon -based Jet Industries Inc. proudly participated in the recent “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” build in Salem, Oregon. Jet’s Heating Division donated all the heating/cooling and ventilation. Jet’s Fire Protection Division donated all of the fire/life safety protection equipment and Jet’s Plumbing division provided the engineering/design for the plumbing.

Jet Industries Inc. was proud to join the Rich Duncan Construction Inc team and other contractors to help build a new facility for The Oregon School for the Deaf. “We saw this as an opportunity to give back to the local community,” said Jeff Zeeb President of Jet Industries Inc. In this economy, many companies are hunkering down and being conservative, but this project has shown the true colors of many of the trades, vendors, and suppliers, and what we have seen is inspiring.” What began as a family-run oil/heating company in 1977 by Aaron Zeeb has eventually grown into one of the largest companies of its type in the country, with over 500 employees. Jet Industries is a successful design-build mechanical, electrical, fire sprinkler, and wood products contractor.
